June is just around the corner, which means it’s nearly time for KILIFAIR.
KILIFAIR is Tanzania’s annual International Tourism & Industry Trade Fair. This year, Direct Pay Online is proud to be supporting the African tourism industry as KILIFAIR’s platinum sponsor.
KILIFAIR is taking place from Friday, June 2nd until Sunday, June 4th, at the Ushirika Sports Stadium in Moshi, Tanzania. This location features 17,000 square meters of exhibition space, 2,500 square meters of food and entertainment space, and ample parking facilities.
KILIFAIR’s motto is “your gateway to East-Africa tourism”, and for a good reason. At last year’s KILIFAIR event, there were an impressive 258 exhibitors and 3,600 visitors! The 2017 fair boasts an expected 300+ exhibitors from Tanzania, Zanzibar, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Zimbabwe.
The fair allows B2B networking, providing businesses with the opportunity to exchange business ideas and participate in workshops with prominent people in the tourism industry.
KILIFAIR is also an exciting community fair. It attracts hundreds of local people, families, and expats. Attractions at the fair include cultural performances by various African groups, with music, dance, and plenty of entertainment. There are activities for all ages and a dedicated children’s play area for the younger visitors. Visitors to the fair can also enjoy African fashion and arts and crafts décor shops. There is also an international food court.
Direct Pay Online is providing a full range of payment services for KILIFAIR, this year, enabling all exhibitors and visitors to operate in a cashless environment. Direct Pay Online will be unveiling a brand new mobile payment app at the fair – DUMA Pay.
