How do I set up Easy Scan on my DPO Pay Mobile app?
Easy Scan is available under payments menu at the bottom of the screen.
Do I need to register separately to make Easy Scan transactions?
- New Merchants – Yes. For new merchants, they can register and request for QR code only.
- Existing merchants do not require to re-register. Details on file will be used for the setup.
What merchants and businesses accept Easy Scan payments?
- Marketplace (Hotels, Tours)
- Note: Not applicable to merchants with integration setups like Shopify, WooCommerce, custom API’s
What types of payment methods are available using Easy Scan?
Card, Mobile, USSD – Nigeria, SID-South Africa, xPay (Dependent on merchants set up)
How does Easy Scan work?
Customer Journey
- Customer scans the code using their phone camera (Must be connected to the Internet)
- The scan redirects to the DPO Pay system
- The customer fills in all the personal details and amounts to pay.
- Selects the mode of payment
- Agrees to Terms and Conditions
- Continues to pay.

Merchants can include the QR code on their websites or print a hard copy for the walk-in customers.
