Mpho Sadiki

Group Managing Director Merchant Services – Africa (excl. Egypt)

Mpho is the Group Managing Director for Merchant Services – Africa, responsible for strategic planning and execution, business development and value propositions for merchant partners across the continent excluding Egypt. A payments industry veteran with over 15 years of executive management experience in financial services, he has extensive expertise in the management and leadership of product and sales teams and the delivery of payments solutions to wholesale and consumer clients.

Prior to joining Network, Mpho was with BankServ Africa where he served as Chief Product Officer and was a member of the executive team with executive leadership across several product verticals including Card, EFT, Realtime Payments, Fraud and Cash management services. He also previously worked at Nedbank and Deloitte. Mpho holds a Bachelor's Degree in Science from the University of Witwatersrand and an MBA from Wits Business School. He has attended leadership development programs at INSEAD and Duke University

Judy Waruiru is the Regional Managing Director for Acquiring at Network International in Eastern Africa, driving growth and market expansion across the region from her base in Nairobi.

With over 20 years of experience, she has successfully managed and identified growth opportunities across diverse markets in Africa and beyond. Her expertise spans fintech, airlines, startups, media, and technology. She has a proven track record in setting and executing strategic initiatives across Africa, where she has trained, inspired, and influenced teams to achieve key business objectives.

Previously, Judy managed operations across 19 African countries for Network, where she was responsible for driving operational excellence. She streamlined complex business processes, leveraged technology to enhance efficiency, and implemented effective strategies to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

Oladipo Alabede

Dipo is the Regional Managing Director for Acquiring in West Africa, leading growth and market expansion for the region based out of Nigeria. He is responsible for managing Network’s business and client portfolio, identifying key opportunities, driving strategy, growth and market expansion, and building strategic partnerships. He brings over 20 years’ experience in digital banking, payments, and the financial industry, with a wealth of expertise in developing and implementing innovative banking solutions and leading high-performing teams.

Before joining Network, Oladipo played a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives and expanding the market presence of Clane Nigeria. He has also held various leadership roles at Sterling Bank, Ecobank, and Stanbic IBTC bank. Oladipo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Osun State and an MBA degree from Lagos Business School in Nigeria.

Lourens Brink is responsible for all the financial affairs of the DPO Group which includes Payfast and DPO Africa. Additionally, he manages all the acquisitions and subsequent financial integrations of the DPO Group over the last 8 years which accelerated growth in one of the largest Pan-African payment service providers.

He has a wealth of experience in the Finance sector for 16 years.

Mohamed Dalal

Mohamed Dalal serves as the Chief Information Officer at Network, where he is responsible for developing and implementing the technology strategy in line with the business. With 22 years of experience, Mohamed Dalal is a seasoned leader specializing in strategy, governance, enterprise architecture, software engineering, and cloud computing.

He has led large technology teams and managed core platforms with multiple integrations at top financial institutions, including NCBA Bank, Stanbic Bank, and Liberty (Standard Bank Group), driving key transformation initiatives.

Mohamed holds a Master of Science in Information Systems Management and a Bachelor of Business Information Technology from Strathmore University. He is also certified in SAFe (Scaled Agile), ITIL, and PRINCE2.

Beyond his corporate role, Mohamed is a recognized speaker on digital disruption, with appearances at global forums such as World Financial Innovation Series (WFIS), Brett King's Breaking Banks USA Radio Show, IT Global Direction Thinking, Seed Stars World Final, and the Temenos Community Forums (TCF).

Paul Mutethia is the Head of Commercial at Network International, responsible for driving the acquiring business across East and Southern Africa. He oversees Sales Operations, Partnerships and Commercial Functions, leading strategic initiatives to expand payment acceptance and merchant solutions across the region.

With 19 years of experience in the banking and Fintech industry, Paul has held key leadership roles having spent 12 years at the KCB Bank Card Centre. He brings extensive regional experience across East Africa and the Indian Ocean. As Visa International's Lead for Merchant Acceptance in the region for six years, he played a pivotal role in expanding payment acceptance in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Mauritius, Seychelles, and Madagascar.

Additionally, Paul has contributed to Kenya’s payments industry, serving as the lead for merchant training in the Kenya Payments Forum, which brings together issuers, acquirers, processors, and card schemes.

Paul holds a Master's degree in Strategic management, a BCom. in marketing, and a Diploma in Banking. He has also completed specialized professional courses in payments and card acquiring from Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, and JCB.

Caroline Jemeli is an award-winning executive with 19 years of experience in integrated marketing strategy, consumer engagement, and B2B2C marketing. She leverages partnerships, sponsorships, and market insights to develop impactful go-to-market strategies for the full portfolio of Acquiring products.

In her role, Caroline leads efforts to optimize the customer lifecycle from acquisition to retention, driving loyalty programs and launching innovative solutions and product features. She also oversees Public Relations, Corporate Communications, and Brand strategy.

Caroline holds an MBA in International and Global Studies from USIU-Africa and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Ramadhan Bakari is the Head of Compliance - overseeing day to day risk and compliance management of the company and coordinating regulatory reporting activities.

He has a wealth of experience in risk and compliance for 17 years which includes experience in the Banking industry. He previously worked at KCB Bank Group as the Risk and Anti Money Laundering specialist.

Martin Gichia is the Head of Legal for East, Central, and Southern Africa at Network, where he oversees the legal team supporting the acquiring business across the region.. A seasoned legal professional with over 16 years of experience, Martin brings extensive expertise in corporate and commercial law, along with strong leadership in managing legal teams.

Before joining Network, he served as Principal Legal Counsel at KCB Bank Kenya Limited, heading the commercial department within the legal division. He also previously held key legal roles at DTB Bank and Standard Chartered Bank.

Martin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of South Africa and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. He is also a Commissioner for Oaths and a Notary Public.

In recognition of his contributions to legal excellence, Martin was recently featured in the GC Powerlist East Africa 2024, which highlights the region’s most influential and innovative general counsel.

Isabella Marira

Isabella serves as the Head of Operations at Network, where she leads efforts to drive operational excellence by streamlining processes, leveraging technology, and enhancing workflow efficiency to deliver a superior customer experience.

With over eight years at Network, Isabella has held key leadership roles in customer service, fraud prevention, merchant risk, and scheme compliance. Before transitioning to the payments industry, she built a solid foundation in the hotel sector, specializing in sales within the travel and corporate markets.

She holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from Kenya Utalii College and a Bachelor's Degree in Management and Leadership with a focus on Marketing. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s in Commerce at Strathmore University, Kenya.

Isabella has a strong track record of building and leading high-performance teams to achieve business success.

Vincent Wakaba is the Head of Products and Value-Added Services at Network, bringing 17 years of experience in financial services across the fintech, banking, and telecommunications sectors.

Before joining Network, Vincent served as Head of Products and Marketing for the Payment Service Bank division of Globacom in Nigeria. In Kenya, he led Mobile Money departments at Airtel and Co-operative Bank, playing a key role in driving financial inclusion and digital payment solutions.

He holds an MBA in Finance and a B.Sc. in Mechatronic Engineering, both from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). Vincent is also a member of the Institute of Directors Kenya (IoD) and the Kenya Institute of Bankers (KIB).

Gadijah Dolan is the HRBP Lead, overseeing people operations across East and South Africa. With 15 years of experience in human resources, she has built HR functions from the ground up and led the implementation of new operating models across Africa. Passionate about empowering teams, she drives strategic HR initiatives that deliver measurable impact.

Over the past seven years at Network, Gadijah has played a pivotal role in multiple mergers and acquisitions. Notably, she led the integration and harmonization of human capital practices, policies, and systems between PayGate and PayFast in South Africa, as well as DPO Africa and Network International.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and a Master’s degree in Philosophy, specializing in Strategic People Management. Gadijah’s leadership style blends strategic vision with hands-on execution. A big-picture thinker with a keen eye for detail, she approaches every aspect of the people journey with empathy and purpose.
