Many banks and payment processors in East Africa support mobile banking, so the technology is available. However, the country has not fully integrated mobile banking technology in all of its capacity. This is not surprising, considering that Kenya, and other parts of East Africa, trails approximately ten years behind the rest of the world, when it comes to e-banking in general.
