KILIFAIR 2016, Tanzania’s international Tourism industry trade fair, opens on Friday, June 3rd and runs until Sunday, June 5th every day, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It will take place at the 17.000 m2 Moshi Ushirika Sports Stadium, which features a more than 2,500 m2 food and entertainment area. There is also unlimited parking.
Under the title “Boosting Tanzania Tourism,” the fair will feature 3 days of networking and workshops for tourism industry professionals. It is expected to attract more than 5,000 attendees and over 250 exhibitors from countries including Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
With its expected attendance, KILIFAIR 2016 has already broken last year’s participation record.
In addition to the travel agency participants, tourist board and country representatives from various African countries will be in attendance.
Special events also include traditional cultural performances brought by Tanzania Cultural Tourism; a “state of the art” entertainment program with international artists and entertainers, an extensive exhibitor lounge, evening activities for exhibitors, fair activities for the public, competitions and a 1000 m2 kids’ playground.
