DPO Pay Easy Scan enables you to pay easily through a QR code, where your device reads the merchant’s QR code and prefills their details, leaving you to enter the amount and confirm the transaction. This is very convenient for customers because they no longer need to worry about carrying cash or credit cards, or searching for their bank account details on their phone and typing them in manually. They can simply scan the code and pay using their preferred method of payment.
Easy Scan is available under payments menu at the bottom of the screen.
New Merchants – Yes. For new merchants, they can register and request for QR code only via email: [email protected].
Existing merchants do not require to re-register. Details on file will be used for the setup.
All merchants are eligible to take up the Easy Scan solution.

Easy Scan allows customers to make payments via card in these easy steps.
As a merchant you can sign up here to access QR code payments. Fill in the required information for the DPO Pay team to review if your business qualifies for QR Code payments.
You will be able to identify one of our merchants when you walk into their premises and see their branded QR Code with our logo. Look out for the Network logo at the bottom of the QR code.
No, ATM PIN is not required to complete the Easy Scan transaction. All you need to do input the necessary required information as specified above for either mobile money or card payment.
Cards payments will be settled 2 days after the transaction while mobile money payment will settled after 1 day.
Card payments will be charged a commission of 2% (exclusive of VAT)
Safaricom’s MPESA transactions will be charged 0.5% (exclusive of VAT).
Airtel Money (Kenya) will be charged 0.5% (exclusive of VAT).
